This Week at the Gathering…

Last night at the food bank was AWESOME!!!!!! WE bagged nearly 6000 pounds of Onions and Apples (oh yes our hands stunk!) but all and all we were able to feed a ton of people! Thanks to all who came out.

This week at the Gathering we will be continuing our discussion through the parables of Jesus. We do this because Jesus throughout His ministry talked about the Kingdom of God. He describes this kingdom (what it’s like, how it works) through parables. As citizens of this kingdom it is important for us to understand what it is and what it is not. Come out and join us in the discussion. Again food this week will be Texas style: hot dogs, steaks, beans beans they’re good for the heart, the more you eat the more you…… you get the picture Please comment on what you plan on bringing.
